It has both a zipper and a button closure in the front, and lined pockets closed off with buttons. The embroidery piece was handmade by a weaving and embroidery women’s collective of artisans in Beirut, Lebanon.

This dual fabric button up shirt features the Aghabani embroidery technique, a chainstitch silk embroidery technique traditionally used for tablecloths where the designs are hand-stamped on cotton and filled with embroidery of different colored threads.
